Nancy Smith (Chair) - ARC Financial Corp., Managing Director, Finance and Planning

Nancy's responsibilities at ARC Financial include finance and risk management, strategic planning, investor relations, and legal and regulatory matters. Nancy joined ARC in 1999 as Chief Financial Officer after nine years in the oil and gas industry and four years in corporate banking. Prior to joining ARC, Nancy worked with a major integrated oil company in various executive roles in financial management and upstream marketing. Nancy received a B.A. (Economics) and M.B.A. (Finance) from the University of Alberta and completed the Canadian Securities course and the Corporate Directors program form the Institute of Corporate Directors. In addition to chairing the board of Corinthian Oil Corp, Nancy sits on the board of Canbriam Energy Inc. and was a former member of the boards of Corinthian Exploration, the Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society and the Alberta Theater projects.

Andy Evans - ARC Financial Corp., Senior Vice-President and Director

Andy is focused on new deal origination and execution in the exploration and production business as well as holding responsibilities in portfolio monitoring and exit. Andy joined ARC in 2004 with 14 years of operating company experience in the oil and gas business. His experience includes domestic and international assignments in exploration and development and geology, and management roles in international exploration and new ventures. Andy's education includes an M.B.A. and Ph. D. in Geology from Stanford University and a B.A. in Earth Science form Dartmouth College. Andy is a Certified Petroleum Geologist and a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). In addition to being on the board of Corinthian Oil Corp, Andy sits on the board of Sitka Exploration Ltd. and was a former board member of Corinthian Exploration.

Duane Schellenberg - ARC Financial Corp., Vice-President

Duane is focused on the origination, structuring and execution of new investment opportunities in the exploration and production industry. His responsibilities also include working closely with ARC's portfolio companies on corporate strategy, risk management, strategy execution and financial matters. Duane currently represents ARC on the boards of Capio Energy Inc., Huron Resources Corp., Sitka Exploration Ltd., and Corinthian Oil Corp.

Tom Bieschke - Caltex Resources Ltd., President & CEO and Director

Tom is a professional engineer with 16 years of diverse experience in the oil and gas industry across basins in Western Canada and the United States. Prior to co-founding Caltex Resources Ltd., Tom co-founded Caltex Energy Inc. and as President & CEO led its growth through the drill-bit and acquisitions from start-up to production levels greater than 11,500 boe/day when the company was sold to Crew Energy Inc. in July 2011. Prior to Caltex, he was co-founder and Sr. Vice President Natural Gas of Krang Energy Inc., a private start-up where he was responsible for all aspects of strategy and execution for the gas business and was instrumental in the growth of the company's production from start-up to 5,000 boe/day prior to its sale to Viking Energy Trust in 2005. Previously, he had various technical and management roles with Burlington Resources in Calgary and Midland, Texas. Tom received Bachelor of Science Degrees in Petroleum and Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1996. Tom is currently a director of privately held Compass Well Services, a Texas-based pressure pumping company and was a former board member of Corinthian Exploration Corp. prior to its sale to Legacy Oil + Gas in 2014.

Dan Botterill - Independent Businessman

Dan was President & Chief Executive Officer and director of Berens Energy Ltd. from May, 2007 until its successful sale to Petrobakken in February, 2010. Dan joined Berens at inception in July 2003 as President and Chief Operating Officer. Under his leadership, the Berens Team successfully grew the company to over 4,000 boepd through profitable development & exploration activity as well as creating a significant land position for the company in the Pembina Cardium play. Prior thereto, Dan was Senior Vice President with Samson Canada Limited where for five years he had been responsible for Samson’s Canadian operations. During his term, Samson Canada grew from 7,000 to 20,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day through profitable development, exploration and acquisitions. He has over 30 years of diversified oil and gas engineering and business experience and has a track record of economically achieving production growth through exploration and production activities as well as through acquisitions. Dan previously served on the board of Corinthian Exploration Corp. and on one other public Company board. He currently sits on one other private company board. Dan has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manitoba.
